Poetry
“Half Past five you stole pink from the sky, because you knew it was my favorite color.”
“And maybe one day I can look into the aquamarine skies without feeling like I’m falling.”
“Stars dotted your eyes and revealed the secrets of the world.”
“You set my heart aflame with your words, but it wasn’t such a big deal since there wasn’t anything left to catch fire.”
“You made me feel like it was not quite midnight, but the moonlight reflecting from your eyes felt like home.”
“A white snow covers the footpath where two lovers courted.”
“On a hot and hazy afternoon, the day sends the night golden pools of honey, and you realize you can breathe again.”
“Do you ever think the wind feels bad for moving through the day?”
“What becomes of me when the night ends?”
“She painted the valley with the colors of her mind. I go there often.”
“Clouds laugh at the sky mocking her colors, only to later vanish into the gloom.”
“Even in the dead of night I can feel the stars calling me home.”
“Have we outgrown the quiet beauty of the city?”
“If my silence echoes maybe they will finally hear me.”
“The night mist lifts with the day, but we hid among the stars so we never had to leave.”
“He surrendered his claim on the night because the violet twilight always reminded him of her.”
“The fire in their voices flamed, but when she looked in his eyes, she still felt an icy haven.”
“You can’t trust the nights, because her glowing sky holds more secrets than I.”
“Looking into your cool silver pools, I realized some skies aren’t so friendly.”
“When you feel the night fill with cool silver, you know the moon has joined her beloved.”
“I wanted to capture the wind because when it moved through me I felt like I might survive one more full cycle of the sun.”
“If I listen carefully, I can hear the wind whisper the secrets of the day. But if I listen closely, I can hear the stars whisper the secrets of the night.”
“Your love was like the sun, and we cannot predict what the sun will do.”
“The sun started to fall and painted the valley the same way it painted your eyes.”
“As the sun rises catching the tops of trees, I watch two worlds come to life.”
“When the day is quiet and the world is dark, the moon reminds me there’s always light coming from somewhere.”
